Product Owner — ServiceNow Platform Apps

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for a suite of ServiceNow platform applications, ensuring stories are well-defined, prioritized, and sprint-ready

• Serve as the primary liaison between Confidential business stakeholders and CONFIDENTIAL delivery teams — translating requirements into actionable deliverables

• Lead sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives in collaboration with scrum masters and development leads

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for platform apps, aligning with Confidential's broader ServiceNow strategy
• Write clear, detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring the development team has everything needed to execute

• Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate decision-making, and escalate blockers as needed to keep delivery on track

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that delivered functionality meets business requirements

• Track and report on product delivery progress, risks, and outcomes to CONFIDENTIAL delivery leadership and Confidential stakeholders

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce friction, and increase the value delivered by the platform

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of product ownership experience, with at least 2–3 years on ServiceNow platform applications

• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform — ITSM, platform apps, and core workflows
• Proven ability to write high-quality user stories, manage a complex backlog, and drive sprint execution

• Experience working in agile/scrum environments with cross-functional delivery teams

• Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting to and influencing senior business and technical leaders
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make pragmatic decisions, and maintain delivery momentum in a large enterprise environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Location

Candidates must be local to one of the following locations, in order of preference:

• Bellevue, WA — strongly preferred

• Overland Park, KS — second choice

On-site presence at the Confidential office will be required infrequently. Candidates must be able to commute or report on-site as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
