Position Summary
Advantus Corp is actively recruiting for a Product& Sourcing Coordinator to join our team in Florida. As part of our Product & Sourcing team, you will report to the Director, Product & Sourcing and will provide support and perform administrative functions for associates within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Input and extract data from our databases, including quotes, images, and product dimensions.
- Update and track the purchase order process for all departmental members. Tasks include gathering appropriate documents, tracking product samples, reconciling shipping documents, verifying weights and dimensions, and creating inbound pallet shipment configurations.
- Assist with market research, including buying samples, gathering competitive product images and pricing, performing Import Genius, and Alibaba searches as needed.
- Monitor, update, and maintain all departmental manuals and wiki pages.
- Responsible for data management, including running weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports related to tariff codes, NMFC types, and tracking ocean freight costs.
- Assist with completing new item forms, setting up products, and completing customer quote sheets.
- Other duties as assigned include coordination of sample shipments to vendors, visiting the warehouse for picking up products, performing inspections, and handling dimension issues.
- Update vendor pricing, MOQ, inventory locations, and other product data as requested by departmental members.
- Serve as the departmental contact for answering product-related questions and issues from Customer Service.
- Research potential product names for trademark clearance.
- Monitor departmental credit card purchases and submit monthly expense reports.
- Serve as the out of office assistant for any departmental members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
