Product Sourcing / Supply Chain Executive (Male / Female Position)

Job Title: Product Sourcing Executive

Location: Karachi (PIDC)

Job Summary:

A Group of companies who has involved in trading & manufacturing of building material chemicals is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Sourcing Professional to identify, evaluate, and procure quality products at competitive prices from local and international suppliers. The role involves supplier development, cost negotiation, quality coordination, and close liaison with sales, R&D, and logistics teams to ensure timely and reliable product availability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new suppliers and manufacturers (local & international)

- Source products according to technical specifications, quality standards, and cost targets

- Request and evaluate quotations, samples, MSDS, TDS, COA, and certifications

- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and delivery schedules

- Coordinate product sampling, testing, and approvals with technical/R&D teams

- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, consistency, and lead time

- Work closely with logistics, import/export, and finance teams for smooth procurement

- Stay updated on market trends, raw material prices, and supply chain risks

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

- Maintain accurate sourcing records and supplier databases

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field

- 2–7 years of experience in product sourcing, procurement, or vendor development

- Strong understanding of supplier evaluation and cost structures

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Ability to work with technical specifications and documentation

- Proficient in MS Excel, email communication, and ERP systems

- Willingness to travel locally or internationally (if required)

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

- Experience in chemicals, construction materials, polymers, or industrial products

- Familiarity with China, Middle East, or Southeast Asia sourcing
