The Manager – Shoes Buying & Production will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and overseeing the production of footwear to ensure the right product mix, quality, and profitability for our retail supermarket. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing supplier relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain stock levels and optimize sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive shoes buying strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective, high-quality footwear.
• Plan, forecast, and manage seasonal assortments and stock levels.
• Coordinate production schedules with suppliers to meet delivery timelines.
• Monitor product quality and resolve any production or supply chain issues.
• Maintain budgets, track performance, and prepare regular reports on sales, stock, and margin.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in footwear buying, production, or merchandising, preferably in retail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent knowledge of footwear production processes and materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
