As our U.S. operations continue to grow, we’re looking for a Product Specialist / Product Marketing Manager with hands-on optics experience and strong communication skills to help drive product success and customer satisfaction.

Role Summary

This role blends product expertise, marketing insight, and customer support. The ideal candidate is an avid hunter or outdoor enthusiast with a solid understanding of night vision and thermal imaging optics. You’ll serve as both a product expert and brand ambassador—assisting customers, supporting the marketing team with accurate technical content, and collaborating with internal teams to refine product messaging and performance.

You’ll also have opportunities to test devices outdoors for real-world feedback, contribute to copywriting for new product launches, and provide valuable insights into the U.S. optics and hunting market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer support via phone and email, including product recommendations, troubleshooting, and warranty inquiries.
  • Translate complex technical specifications into clear, engaging marketing content such as product descriptions, brochures, and website listings.
  • Conduct competitive analysis on pricing, positioning, and product features within the U.S. optics and hunting market.
  • Collaborate closely with the R&D and Sales teams to identify unique selling points (USPs) and improve product positioning.
  • Support marketing initiatives by providing accurate product insights for campaigns, social media, and influencer partnerships.
  • Test Pard USA devices in real-world outdoor conditions to ensure performance accuracy and gain firsthand product experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions within the CRM system.
  • Represent Pard USA at trade shows and events within the optics and outdoor industries.
  • Provide feedback and market intelligence to guide product improvements and future launches.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, customer support, or a related field within the optics, hunting, or outdoor gear industry.
  • Strong familiarity with night vision and thermal imaging technology (both professional and hands-on experience preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create persuasive and technically accurate content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Customer-focused attitude and the ability to relate to a hunting and outdoor enthusiast audience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Marketing, Engineering, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

  • Experienced hunter or active outdoorsman with direct use of thermal or night vision optics.
  • Background in product or technical copywriting.
  • Experience managing website product listings or content presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $75,000-100,000, depending on experience.
  • This role is offered as a remote 1099 position for the right candidate (no benefits provided). Local W2 employees will work on-site at our Reno, Nevada office and receive a competitive benefits package, including 50% company-paid medical coverage.
