PVF SPECIALIST

Job Summary:

The Pipe, Values & Fittings Specialist will work closely with our local sales professionals as well as with our corporate marketing manager in a team approach to enhance our position within this important part of our overall business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze , source, quote, and implement new business opportunities in the pipe, valves and fittings market
• Work closely with sales and marketing managers to obtain new business
• Assist sales staff with product sourcing
• Assist purchasing with current lead times and pricing

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial sales or customer service, with a college degree preferred. Recent college graduates with a degree in sales, marketing or a related field will also be considered
• Good data entry skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge base in sourcing and market trends would be a definite plus

Working Environment/physical demands:

• Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
• Partial exposure to warehouse/ shop floor
• Walking, standing, and bending on a regular basis
• Lifting up to 40lbs on a regular basis.
