Product Strategy Manager

About the Role

We are inviting a Product Strategy Manager to lead the user research and product definition of Plant-for-the-Planet’s Forest Cloud tools. This role is ideal for someone who dreams big, who can imagine what forest restoration could look like tomorrow, and build the tools to make it real.

You will shape how new and existing products fit together, ensuring they meet the needs of restoration practitioners, researchers, and local communities.

Forest Cloud includes tools like TreeMapper, FireAlert, Tracer, Donation platform, and upcoming features like Seed Manager, all designed to make ecosystem restoration more transparent, efficient, and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to understand the needs of restoration projects and partners.
• Define product concepts, workflows, and feature requirements.
• Visualize product ideas and communicate them clearly to developers and stakeholders.
• Ensure new features integrate seamlessly into the Forest Cloud ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and conservation experts.
• Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree + 3 years experience in product management, strategy, or product definition, OR 5 years product experience without a degree.
• Ability to translate research into clear product roadmaps and requirements.
• Strong skills in conceptualization and product visualization (wireframes, user flows, feature maps).
• Familiarity with agile development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Passion for sustainability, conservation, or climate action.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in English. Knowledge of German, French, and Spanish is a plus.
