We are a fast-growing industrial group based in Senegal, West Africa, specialized in plastic packaging, beverages, and injection molding. We are expanding our packaging division and looking for an experienced Film Blowing Engineer to lead the production and maintenance of our Mono and 3-Layer film blowing lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and optimize mono-layer and 3-layer film blowing machines to achieve consistent film quality.
• Lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of extrusion lines, die heads, and winders.
• Adjust production parameters (temperature, air ring, nip rollers, etc.) to ensure correct film thickness, clarity, and strength.
• Supervise and train local operators to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with quality and logistics teams for smooth workflow and raw material planning.
• Maintain records of production output, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Plastics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining film blowing machines (mono & multilayer).
• Strong technical knowledge of extruder screws, die heads, air rings, and take-up systems.
• Experience with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, and shrink film production.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Good communication in English (French is an advantage but not required).
• Willingness to relocate to Senegal (Africa) – accommodation provided.
