Product Support Specialist- Manure and Biosolids Application Equipment

Summary: The Product Support Specialist (PSS) will provide focused support for designated manufactured products. The PSS will have primary responsibility for current product evaluation, service and end user issues/concerns and communicating them to all other functions within the company.

Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoot and problem solve product issues with /for dealers and company personnel

· Develop / Provide technical and product training to Oxbo’s internal service staff, Oxbo support channels, dealers, and customers.

· Review all field incident reports and coordinate communication between departments and support channels to resolve field service issues

· Work cross functionally in the distribution of all service bulletins, technical information, product updates/ programs

· Review and make determination for warranty coverage

· Participate in product validation and verification processes.

· Participate as a member of the 8D Root Cause teams for assigned products.

· Channel feedback from customers and field experience to Sales & Marketing staff to assist with product development and model year revisions. Focus areas to include reliability, maintenance and performance parameters.

· Assist with product demonstrations of new equipment as needed.

· Gain an understanding of the marketplace, provide feedback on competition based on field and customer needs.

· Collaborate on parts’ forecasts based on field use and failure observations.

· Assist Publications staff with the review of parts and operators’ manuals and the online product support library.

· Perform other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Associate’s degree in agriculture or related Mechanical Engineering Technology and 5+ years’ experience as a service technician or Service Manager in an agriculture machinery business (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

· Experience with mobile agriculture machinery service, mobile electrical controlled hydraulic systems including open and closed loop systems, and mobile DC electrical systems including relay logic and CAN bus type systems.

· Experience in diesel engine troubleshooting and maintenance is also desirable.

· Strong troubleshooting (analysis/problem-solving) skills

· Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and Customer Service orientation

· Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work as a part of a team-with the engineering, purchasing, marketing, manufacturing, sales, and service groups

· The ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
