Main tasks

Product Development Support

Evaluating prototypes of lenses, frames, ophthalmic instruments, or digital eye-care solutions.
Giving functional feedback to engineers and product designers to improve usability and effectiveness.
Verifying the product claims through funcational testing (e.g., comfort, visual performance, myopia control, etc.).

Innovation & Research

Identifying unmet needs in eye care and proposing innovative solutions.
Exploring new technologies (AR/VR, AI, tele-optometry, diagnostic imaging).
Conducting literature reviews to track global research trends and competitive products.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work

Working closely with engineers, material scientists, and data scientists in developing devices or formulations.
Supporting the regulatory team with documentation for product approvals.
Collaborating with marketing and training teams to translate scientific findings into clinical benefits for practitioners.

Education

Degree in Optometry and Masters in Optometry,

Work Experience

Internship at renewed ophthalmology institute 1-3 years exp in running the optical store 2-4 years’ experience in Academic and hospital clinic

Specific Knowledge/Skills (needs-based further training and development)

Strong leadership, analytic, strategic and communication skills. Proactive attitude and high degree of independence. Proven ability to act on top management level internally and with external customers, strong program and project management skills in international and complex environments, software development, strategic and operational supplier management. Knowledge in medical and labor regulations and an entrepreneurial mindset
