Product Tester

Job Title- Product Tester(Functional)
The Product Tester will be responsible for evaluating software products to ensure quality, functionality, usability, and performance. This role involves identifying bugs, reporting issues, validating fixes, and ensuring the final product meets the required standards before release. The candidate will work closely with the development, design, and product teams.

Job Description

• Create and Execute manual and/or automated test cases for software features.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved.
• Identify inconsistencies and gaps in the software and ticket/report them clearly.
• Prepare detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Document bugs with steps to reproduce, screenshots, logs, and severity.
• Maintain proper tracking of issues using internal ticket tools.
• Work with developers to understand and document new features and technical requirements.
• Communicate defects, risks, and potential impacts to the product team.
• Participate in review meetings, standups, and release planning sessions.
• Contribute ideas to enhance testing efficiency and process improvements.
• Support in setting up quality standards, testing frameworks, and best practices.
• Qualification-

Any of the following

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields with PMI certification required.

Diploma in Software Testing or Quality Assurance (preferred for entry level).
Candidates with strong testing experience may be considered regardless of degree.
Technical Knowledge-

• Knowledge of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Trello, etc.).
Basic understanding of automation tools (Selenium, Appium)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
