Product Upload Specialist

Position Summary

The Product Upload Specialist is responsible for creating, publishing, and maintaining accurate and compelling product listings across the company’s websites and e-commerce platforms. This role ensures all product information—including descriptions, attributes, pricing, photography, and specifications—is presented with precision and consistency. The position plays a critical role in supporting marketing initiatives, maintaining brand standards, and driving excellent online customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Copywriting & Content Organization

• Write and format accurate product descriptions for websites, e-commerce platforms, and marketing materials.
• Ensure product titles and descriptions follow established formatting guidelines.
• Build and maintain product description templates for page-building tools.
• Update and revise product copy as needed to maintain listing accuracy and consistency.
• Review product pages and support documents for accuracy, proper formatting, and compliance with brand standards.

Product Page Publishing

• Create and publish new product pages, ensuring all descriptions, attributes, pricing, and specifications are complete and accurate.
• Track new product creation through Monday.com boards and contribute toward the team’s annual goal of 1,500+ product uploads.
• Verify that published content matches physical products and technical specifications.
• Input weight, dimensions, and additional product data to ensure correct listings.

Product Photography & Media

• Conduct product photography, capturing high-quality images for web and marketing use.
• Edit and optimize images (including manufacturer-provided photos) to meet brand quality standards.
• Ensure all product imagery is consistent with marketing campaigns and brand guidelines.

Marketing Support

• Provide product copy, photography, and creative input for marketing materials, campaigns, and social media.
• Participate in marketing meetings and collaborate with team members on campaign launches.
• Use Monday.com to manage workflows, communicate tasks, and maintain project timelines.
• Ensure product content supports brand voice and messaging.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field required; Equivalent work experience in product content organization, e-commerce, or digital marketing may be considered in place of formal education.

· Proficiency with content organization and design tools, including Photoshop, RAW Editor, Canva, Magento, Shopify, and Monday.com.

• Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Photography skills, including professional camera operation and digital image editing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and business management systems (BMS).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Highly detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy across high volumes of product uploads.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in e-commerce, consumer electronics, or the drone/UAV industry.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for product listings.
• Knowledge of digital asset management systems and workflow tools.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment. Ability to lift, carry, and move drone products, parts, or packages up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Adequate vision to read manuals, product specifications, and computer screens. Adequate hearing and speech to communicate clearly with customers via phone, video calls, or in person. Ability to perform occasional product demonstrations, requiring standing, reaching, bending, or light assembly tasks.
