How will this role impact First Command?

We are seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead the development and adoption of our Product Integration Master (PIM) platform—a central hub that unifies financial product data across investments, banking, lending, and insurance. This role will be critical in delivering a single source of truth for client-owned financial products, enabling seamless integration across enterprise platforms, regulatory compliance, and enhanced advisor and client experiences.

As the Product Manager for PIM, you will partner with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to define the roadmap, prioritize integrations, and ensure the platform meets the needs of advisors, clients, and internal operations.

What will the employee be doing?

  • Own the PIM Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product strategy that aligns with enterprise priorities and delivers measurable business value.
  • Lead Data Integration Initiatives: Drive integration of financial product data from custodians, carriers, and internal systems into PIM, ensuring accuracy, governance, and completeness.
  • Deliver Business Value: Enable downstream use cases including advisor/ client 360 views, planning and recommendation solutions, compensation and recognition processing, and digital client experiences through client portal.
  • Define & Manage Requirements: Translate business needs into product opportunities, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs for engineering teams.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with UX/CX, solution and data architects, engineering, QA, operations, compliance, and business product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Champion Adoption & Change Management: Work with stakeholders across the organization to drive adoption of PIM as the single source of product truth.
  • Measure Success: Define KPIs (e.g., data completeness, system adoption, downstream usage) and continuously optimize to improve value delivery.
