Production Coordinator

At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.

The Production Coordinator coordinates & distributes needed information to departments to produce, install and updates daily production schedules to meet deadlines. Coordinator will perform the task as a link between projects mangers and fabrication division and other various departments within the organization.

Main Accountabilities

Communication

Attend production meetings with department team member of steel, paint, carpentry along with P.M.
Serve as a point of contact for fabrication team for answering questions, work scheduling and confirming installations, providing pre-installation information, assuring quality, solving problems.,
Discusses with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes received from project managers or other departments.
Ensure the team have the information to be successful at their site installations, including accurate build up schedules, entry permits, work permits etc.
Review daily the fabrication schedule and communicate possible delays or disruptions to the Fabrication Division Manager

Coordination, Planification and organization

Work with Operation Managers of the fabrication departments to coordinate work flow, job priorities and connect the fabrication activities of different departments.
Reviewing the scope of work with the supervisors to Investigate possible delays and take or recommend appropriate actions to ensure build up schedules are met.
Oversee the progress and quality of work being performed as per design.
Coordinates and Follow up with the suppliers for measurements, installation schedule and delivery of the goods at the fabrication stage.
Coordinating with supervisor and team leader for any requirements on site transport, material, etc.
Keep up to date records of the jobs, maintains and updates the production libraries (accessories and fabrication methods).

Technical & Functional Skills

Full knowledge of the entire process of the production and projects that to be coordinated and be able to articulate by writing/speaking with all project actors.
Technical basic knowledge in Drawings in all field of the fabrication (steel, carpentry, paint)

General Obligations towards Health, Safety and Environment

You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company.
You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company.
You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.
You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
