  • Work closely with the Production Manager and Supply Chain to ensure the timely availability of necessary raw materials, sub-assemblies, and tools.
  • Track and report on key production metrics, including output, yield, cycle time, and adherence to the schedule.
  • Proactively identify potential bottlenecks or delays in the production process and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor inventory levels of work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods, coordinating material flow from receiving to shipping.
  • Utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to accurately track job status, inventory movements, and material consumption.
  • Initiate and follow up on material requests, purchase requisitions, and work orders.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication between the production floor, engineering, quality, and management.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a coordination or supervisory role.
  • Must have prior experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or aerospace).
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations (specifically 21 CFR Part 820) and/or ISO 13485 quality management systems.
