To strengthen our operations team in Sohar, we are seeking a skilled Production Cost Controller to oversee cost analysis and support strategic decision-making.

Role Overview

The Production Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting production costs to ensure efficiency and profitability. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with production and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production costs across manufacturing operations.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analyses for management.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and cost allocations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and production processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RO1,700.000 per month
