Production cum Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Production cum Quality Engineer to oversee the manufacturing and quality assurance of heat exchangers. The ideal candidate should have experience in production planning, quality control, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise the manufacturing process of heat exchangers.
• Ensure efficient utilization of materials, manpower, and machinery.
• Coordinate with the design team for production feasibility and modifications.
• Implement and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Optimize processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure adherence to safety and workplace regulations.

Quality Control Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products for quality compliance.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards as per industry norms (ASME, TEMA, etc.).
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Work with customers and third-party inspectors for quality approvals.
• Ensure all heat exchangers meet technical and safety standards before dispatch.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, DME or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in heat exchanger manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication, and testing methods (NDT, Hydro Test, etc.).
• Familiarity with ASME, TEMA, and other industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools (preferred).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
