Production Designer - Print & Fab @ Forever Studios

Forever Studios PRO – Boca Raton, FL – Full Time – In Person

Forever Studios PRO is hiring a Production Designer to work at the intersection of graphic design, printing material knowledge, and execution of printing on physical projects.

This is not a remote design job or agency-style layout position.

This is a hands-on role inside a professional print and fabrication studio, working directly with clients on how to bring their ideas to life, and working alongside our print and engineering team.

If you care about how things look and how they are physically made, this role may be for you.

You don't need prior experience, only desire to learn printing.

What We Do

Forever Studios PRO works with businesses, artists, designers, and institutions to produce custom print and display work across a wide range of materials.

Our projects include:

  • Fine art reproduction
  • Professional photography prints
  • Interior design installations
  • Large-format custom print
  • Exhibition and gallery work
  • Premium material fabrication

We are not a volume print shop. We are a precision-oriented production studio.

The details matter here.

What This Role Actually Is

The Production Designer serves as the bridge between client intent and physical output.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Meeting with clients to clarify creative direction and technical needs
  • Translating client vision into production-ready files
  • Preparing assets for large-format and specialty printing
  • Managing file formats, and material specifications
  • Participating on our print and fabrication team
  • Executing in print runs and reviewing physical output for quality
  • Ensuring that final materials meet both aesthetic and structural standards

This role requires both design literacy and production literacy.

You will not simply hand files off and walk away. You will see the work through to completion. Because this is a super uncommon role, we are happy to work on training the right applicant.

Who This Role Is For

The strongest candidates will:

  • Have formal training or professional experience in graphic design
  • Have experience in fine art, photography, interior design, or exhibition work
  • Be comfortable working inside the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required)
  • Understand file preparation for print and large-scale output
  • Have a working knowledge of color management and material considerations
  • Be comfortable interacting directly with clients in a professional environment
  • Be detail-oriented and process-driven

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with large-format printers
  • Experience in print fabrication environments
  • Understanding of materials such as acrylic, metal, canvas, or specialty substrates

Temperament matters here. We are looking for someone collaborative, technically competent, and steady under client pressure.

This is not a role for someone who prefers purely digital work detached from physical output.

Day-to-Day Reality

This is an in-person position based at our Boca Raton studio.

Your days may include:

  • Reviewing client artwork and consulting on feasibility
  • Adjusting files for material compatibility
  • Collaborating with print technicians during production
  • Quality-checking finished prints
  • Assisting with fabrication and mounting when required

The work is creative, but it is also structured and technical.

If you enjoy seeing design work come to life in physical reality, this is a great role for you.

Growth Potential

This role sits inside a growing professional services division. As FS PRO expands, this seat will grow with it.

There is real opportunity for someone who can blend creative design with production fluency.
