with 7-12 years of hands-on experience in production, engineering, and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in
ERP systems, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), productivity improvement, manpower planning, and engineering excellence
. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control
-
Develop, monitor, and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with business targets.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality, and supply chain to ensure smooth production flow.

Utilize ERP systems effectively for production planning, resource allocation, and tracking of work orders.

Operational Efficiency & OEE Management
-
Drive initiatives to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by reducing downtime, improving machine availability, and increasing throughput.

Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement.

Implement lean manufacturing practices, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Productivity Improvement

Lead projects focused on improving cycle times, reducing waste, and optimizing material utilization.

Benchmark and implement best practices in production processes to achieve cost efficiency.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards while maximizing output.

Manpower Planning & Management
-
Plan and allocate manpower resources effectively across shifts to ensure production continuity.

Train, mentor, and motivate shop floor teams to achieve set targets and maintain discipline.

Drive a culture of accountability, safety awareness, and continuous learning within the workforce.

Engineering & Process Excellence
-
Provide technical expertise for production line improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions.

Collaborate with design, R&D, and maintenance teams to resolve engineering challenges.

Support capital projects, process automation, and implementation of new technologies to enhance plant efficiency.
Skills & Competencies Required

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

Proficiency in monitoring and improving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

Proven track record of driving productivity improvements in manufacturing environments.

Excellent understanding of manpower planning, shift scheduling, and workforce optimization.

Strong foundation in engineering principles, production technologies, and process improvement.
-
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and cross-functional coordination.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.

Master's degree in Engineering / Operations Management (preferred).

7-12 years of experience in production engineering or senior engineering roles within manufacturing industries.

Exposure to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or TPM methodologies will be an added advantage.
