Production Engineer

Summary

The Production Lead is responsible for coordinating daily production activities on the floor, ensuring that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Oversee production process and ensure efficiency and quality based on company standards

· Identify damages and investigate all production problems

· Respond quickly to breakdowns and delays that could affect production plan

· Plan and design methods to improve current production process and increase efficiency

· Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

· Ensure the implementation of production schedules and plans

· Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards regarding safety, health and environmental protection

· Organize plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time and profits

· Perform quality checks to make sure quality standards are followed

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

• 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing role, with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety, and quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other relevant software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
