Production Engineer

AKSA, a company of Akkök Holding, was founded in 1968 in Yalova. Becoming the world’s largest producer of acrylic fiber over the years, Aksa today serves approximately 300 customers in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Having a capacity of 350.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.

We are looking for a Production Engineer who will be reporting to the Special Fibers Production Manager.

Qualities We Are Looking For;

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Textile Engineering
• Preferably with min 3 years of experience in in filament yarn production
• Experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or product development.
• Good command of English (reading, writing and technical communication)
• Strong team work, analytical thinking, problem solving, research, communication and negotiation skills.
• Residing or able to reside in Yalova or Gölcük area.

Your main tasks are;

• Acrylic filament yarn production and manufacturing, applicability of product recipes.
• Planning, distribution, control, and reporting of pilot change and specialty fiber production processes.
• Monitoring processes, efficiency, and quality improvement studies.
• Ensuring correct and safe equipment setup, periodic maintenance, and system monitoring.
• Analyzing data obtained from production outputs and tests, supporting product recipes and production continuity.
• Maintaining and controlling work in compliance with occupational safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
