Production Engineer

We are looking for a teammate with the following qualifications to be appointed as a "Production Engineer" in the forest products sector in Turkey and in the world, located in Düzce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Manufacturing or Forest Industry Engineering).
• 3–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of production systems, safety practices, and lean methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willing to work in a dynamic production environment with hands-on responsibilities .

Job Description

• Oversee daily production activities on the shop floor.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure production targets are met.
• Identify improvement areas and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and planning departments to ensure workflow continuity.
• Prepare production reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Contribute to cost-saving and process optimization projects.
• Support training and onboarding of new operators and technicians.
