Production Engineer

The job posting is for Automobile plastics manufacturing facility based in Dadra where the company manufactures plastic parts of Automobile for Automobile industry.

The role requires the shift engineer who is going to monitor injection moulding process, assists to trouble shooting the ongoing production, set the Molds as per the production planning, achieve the production target and identifies key process parameter and control.

Responsibilities: -

• Sets Molds for production
• Records and maintains Mold and process setup sheets.
• Assists in trouble shooting production processes
• Conducts cycle improvement
• Manpower and shift handling
• Production Planning and execution
• Processes related to CAPA (8D) analysis.
• Monitors production cycle times Daily Basis to achieve the production Target
• Identifies key process parameters for process monitoring and control
• Audits production processes for adherence to established setup
• MIS data monthly reports like OE, yield, PPM.
• Ensures required process development information accompanies tooling

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications: -

• 2-4 years’ experience in injection moulding processing; CIPET or Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on plastics processing desirable. Must have thorough understanding of injection moulding process, machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment. Knowledge of ISO standards, TPM & TQM is desirable.
• Ability to understand and fill up daily production reports
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts.
• Has planning and analytical skills; some knowledge of PC based computer software such as ERP, MS Word, Excel, and program management software
• Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime when necessary
