Production Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely delivery of metallizing equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

© Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities.

© Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.

© Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency.

© Coordinate with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless workflow.

© Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide timely resolutions.

© Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs or servicing as needed.

© Maintain production documentation, including reports, SOPs, and quality logs.

© Train and supervise shop floor staff and technicians as required.

© Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant quality standards.

© Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

© Oversee daily operations in the fabrication department, ensuring production schedules are met.

© Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.

© Help to Implement and manage efficient fabrication processes and procedures

© Develop and execute plans for improving production efficiency and reducing waste

Qualifications and Skills:

© bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.

© 4-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/Engineering setup.

© Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC/lathe/machining operations, welding, and assembly.

© Proficiency in reading Technical drawings and using CAD tools.

© Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

© Excellent organizational and team management abilities.

© Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and other industrial best practices.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
