PRODUCTION ENGINEER

1. Participation in KOM and progress review meetings at workshop and suggest suitable measures for reduction of idle manpower / ensure timely delivery and reduced rework(Material and Resource tracking)

2. Preparation of progress measurement system (PMS) for the running projects

3. Conducting the Weekly meeting with Supervisor, Foreman’s and submit weekly/ monthly progress reports along with “S Curve” for all the running Projects in the yard

4. Preparation of productivity report and controlling the allocated man-hours for all the running projects and communicating to the shop team on daily basis and getting the output accordingly.

5. Ensuring the planned manpower on daily bases for the available work front and monitoring the progress. and highlighting the shortage of resources.

6. Shop daily production report preparing based on the project requirement and update to the Project Team

7. Follow-up the RFI through QC for the fabrication completed material and ensuring all are align with the Inspection, NDT, RT, UT requirements.

8. Coordinating with material coordinator all the warehouse material request (WMR) of fabrication start up and daily follow up the materials to feed the yard for the completion of production.

9. Coordination with Design dept for the fabrication’s drawings issues and obtain the revision if any errors .

10. Ensure the long stay project items in yard for the delivery progress. (Ex: Refurbished Vessels, Tanks)

11. Follow up with maintenance team for the machineries, equipment’s of preventive maintenance activities.

12. Monitoring the project progress and highlight the activities to the shop to be focused on to achieve that progress and the planned target.

13. Assist to Manager for the new implements of the below machineries and prepare the technical comparison for company Asset purchase.

14. Coordinating with QA/QC for the procedures (ITP, Hydrotest, FAT, Blasting & Painting) and ensuring the concern team is communicated and work carried out as per the procedures.

15. Coordination with project team, logistic department and arrange crane for the dispatch fabricated items

16. Review of consumable indent issue by workshop/ site prior to purchase.

17. Review of schedule jobwise considering the manpower and machinery availability and contract delivery dates. Prepare detailed job plans.

18. Coordinate with the production/ quality and stores dept. and shall follow up for material/ manpower requirements at various stages of production.

19. Ensure the timely mobilization of materials and resources to site and control unwanted site movement.

20. Monitor the job progress against the plan and suggest measures for necessary actions.

21. Monitor subcontractor progress as per the agreed plan as required.

22. Organize for packing/ protection and dispatch of finished goods.

23. Identify surplus materials and resources for effective planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
