Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Engineer with hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, CNC press brakes, and press tools. The role involves production planning, team supervision, quality control, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Understand and interpret engineering and production drawings.
• Plan and execute daily and monthly production schedules.
• Supervise a production team of around 20 workers and ensure optimal productivity.

Technical Skills

• Operate and oversee processes involving press tools and CNC press brakes.
• Apply strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication methods and workflows.

Quality and Safety

• Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to defined standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain shop floor discipline.

Process Improvement

• Identify areas for efficiency improvement and assist in process optimization.
• Coordinate with design and planning teams for feasibility and timely execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of press tools, CNC press brakes, and production processes.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate effectively.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Additional Information

• Working Days: 6 days a week (Sunday off)
• Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Petrol allowance & mobile reimbursement provided as per company norms.
• No food and transport facilities provided.
• Role involves travel for client coordination when required.
