Production Engineer

Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Production Engineer for our Distribution Transformer Manufacturing Unit in Tenali. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end production planning, quality control, team coordination, and process monitoring to ensure timely dispatch and compliance with IS standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Control

• Execute daily production plans as per dispatch schedules
• Coordinate with Winding, Core Building, Assembly, Oil Filling, Tanking, and Testing departments
• Ensure timely availability of materials like copper, core laminations, tanks, bushings, and transformer oil

Quality & Process Monitoring

• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with IS standards and company SOPs
• Inspect components before assembly to maintain quality workmanship
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and reduce rework

Team Coordination & Safety

• Supervise technicians and shop-floor teams
• Train workers on safety practices and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with plant safety norms

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily production and material consumption reports
• Report issues related to manpower, materials, or machinery
• Assist during internal and external quality audits

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes
• Hands-on experience in core-coil assembly, brazing, oil filling, tanking, and testing
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
