Production Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Monitor and control production parameters to achieve quality and productivity targets
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety norms, and quality standards
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores teams to minimize downtime and rejections
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce wastage, and optimize costs
• Handle manpower planning and shift-wise production allocation
• Ensure timely completion of production schedules as per plan
• Maintain production records, reports, and documentation
• Support new product trials, process validations, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with ISO / quality systems followed by the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Plastic Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in plastic or polymer manufacturing
• Experience in processes such as Injection Molding / Extrusion / Blow Molding / Compounding (as applicable)
• Good understanding of production planning, quality control, and safety practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work in shifts
