PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Job Description

Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Ensure the correct manning per machine & fill the manpower shortage to ensure proper implementation of the daily production planning.
• Review the daily production reports and ensure their correctness in order to enable a proper handover and transfer of information during the shift change.
• Supervise and ensure the machine run-ability during trials/production & report any non-conformities of raw material.
• Follow up on the team to ensure minimum waste and maximum efficiency
• Submitting/ Approving his team requests on pulse (Leaves, Sick leaves, Loans, etc.….)
• Monitor the best size change flow cycle
• Assign tasks and deadlines for the production team and follow up achievements of set goals.
• Manage & guide the production team to work safely & effectively while maintaining tidy and clean plant premises.
• Ensure all hygiene procedure including “hairnet, mask, gloves, hand sanitization) are being implemented correctly all the time on the floor.
• Secure a proper preventive maintenance on all machines in coordination with the Maintenance Department and Corrective repair orders / Workshop repair orders
• Ensure the application of all quality procedures in coordination with the QC Department.
• Evaluate the performance of his staff & suggest the appropriate incentive and training program.
• Responsible for complying with integrated management system requirements.
• Responsible with alignment with HSSE team for updating the HIRA and to ensure hazard & risk are adequately identified and documented
• Responsible with alignment with HSSE team for updating the aspect/impact and to ensure all the aspect/impact are adequately identified and documented
• Consultation and participation at all applicable levels and functions (ex. the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and actions for improvement of the OH&S management system).

Technical Development Department, QC Department, Maintenance Department, Safety Department, Maintenance Department, Supply Chain Department, and PID Department.

Machinery suppliers.

Required Job Qualifications & Competencies

Education & Experience

• Engineering or Technical Degree.
• Fresh Graduate or 2 years’ experience in similar and related field.

• Ability to handle multitasks.
• Work in Plant / Manufacturing Environment.
