Production Engineer - Brewing - Gianaclis Plant

Job Purpose

Ensures control over product processing by operating the brewery production equipments in a safe way to achieve the production plan with the Heineken quality standards and to meet customer requirements on time with minimum losses and high quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensures a safe workplace environment, meets production requirements and promotes quality improvement targets.
2. Prepares the daily production plan and coordinates with the production manager on activities during shifts.
3. Ensures that all machines and equipment are ready for the production process.
4. Performs quality checks and process analysis.
5. Corrects stocks on system applications and procedures software.
6. Prepares SAP sheet of shipment and sends it to the quality and warehouse department.
7. Follows up breakdown and stoppage machines and does preventive and corrective actions in coordination with the engineering department.
8. Analyzes the root cause investigation for parameters deviations and out of specifications.
9. Follows up on inspection, lubrication, and cleaning of machines.
10. Highlights productivity and team’s performance.
11. Supervises exports shipping.
12. Works with the other department’s to achieve plant goals.
13. Supports the improvement of product quality, integrity and safety with the effective implementation of different quality systems i.e., HACCP, ISO 9001-14001, Heineken standards.
14. Controls losses within budget.
15. Diagnoses the roots and causes of breakdowns (including human error) and troubleshooting problems.
16. Communicates with raw materials suppliers to ensure and secure better quality and efficiency on the lines.
17. Performs daily internal audit on lines to assure all production safety standards are being met.

Education & Experiences

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Chemical or Production Engineering

Years of Experience

1 – 3 years of experience in production process in FMCG companies

Qualifications & Other Requirements

Excellent command of English Language

Skills in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint)

TPM Knowledge

HACCP/ISO Principles and systems
