Production Engineer - Brewing - Gianaclis Plant

Job Purpose

Ensures control over product processing by operating the brewery production equipments in a safe way to achieve the production plan with the Heineken quality standards and to meet customer requirements on time with minimum losses and high quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures a safe workplace environment, meets production requirements and promotes quality improvement targets.
  • Prepares the daily production plan and coordinates with the production manager on activities during shifts.
  • Ensures that all machines and equipment are ready for the production process.
  • Performs quality checks and process analysis.
  • Corrects stocks on system applications and procedures software.
  • Prepares SAP sheet of shipment and sends it to the quality and warehouse department.
  • Follows up breakdown and stoppage machines and does preventive and corrective actions in coordination with the engineering department.
  • Analyzes the root cause investigation for parameters deviations and out of specifications.
  • Follows up on inspection, lubrication, and cleaning of machines.
  • Highlights productivity and team’s performance.
  • Supervises exports shipping.
  • Works with the other department’s to achieve plant goals.
  • Supports the improvement of product quality, integrity and safety with the effective implementation of different quality systems i.e., HACCP, ISO 9001-14001, Heineken standards.
  • Controls losses within budget.
  • Diagnoses the roots and causes of breakdowns (including human error) and troubleshooting problems.
  • Communicates with raw materials suppliers to ensure and secure better quality and efficiency on the lines.
  • Performs daily internal audit on lines to assure all production safety standards are being met.

Education & Experiences

Educational Background

|

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Chemical or Production Engineering

Years of Experience

|

1 – 3 years of experience in production process in FMCG companies

Qualifications & Other Requirements

|

Excellent command of English Language

Skills in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint)

TPM Knowledge

SAP Knowledge

HACCP/ISO Principles and systems
