Production Engineer (Fabrication)

Job Title: Production Engineer (Fabrication) – Oil & Gas
Location: F. C Road, Pune
Experience: 10 –12 years
Qualification: BE/BTech Mechanical

JD Summary

Responsible for managing fabrication activities for oil and gas equipment, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety compliance are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily fabrication activities for pressure vessels, skids, piping spools, and structural components.
• Review fabrication drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Supervise welders, fitters, and shop floor operations.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and welding standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, NDT, hydrotesting, and documentation.
• Monitor production progress, resource utilization, and resolve fabrication issues.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards across the shop floor.
• Coordinate material availability and support procurement.

Required Skills

• Hands-on fabrication experience in the oil & gas or heavy engineering sector.
• Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW).
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and isometrics.
• Familiarity with ASME Sec VIII, API standards.

Preferred Skills

• ERP system exposure.
• Understanding of Lean/5S practices.
• Experience with machining and TPI coordination.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹60,757.57 - ₹80,538.18 per month
