Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer – Structural Steel to manage and optimize fabrication shop operations. The role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing, quality compliance, and timely delivery of structural steel components.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and control daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Coordinate with design, estimation, and project teams
• Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and material specifications
• Monitor fabrication activities including cutting, welding, drilling, and assembly
• Ensure production targets are met as per project timelines
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and quality compliance
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards within the workshop
• Track production progress and prepare reports
• Implement continuous improvement to reduce wastage and increase productivity

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
• 2–8 years of experience in structural steel fabrication
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Experience with fabrication machinery and workshop operations
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/MRP knowledge is an advantage
