Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and manage construction projects in compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE construction codes, and international standards. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Society of Engineers (SOE) license and be eligible for or already approved by Dubai Municipality.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure).
• Ensure all works comply with Dubai Municipality, UAE codes, and project specifications.
• Review and approve structural, civil, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and government authorities.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and timelines.
• Prepare technical reports, method statements, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, cost control, and material quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities for approvals, inspections, and permits.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Valid Society of Engineers (SOE) license – UAE (mandatory).
• Dubai Municipality approval or eligibility (preferred/mandatory as per role).
• Minimum X years of experience in civil construction within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, local authority requirements, and UAE construction standards.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on projects approved by Dubai Municipality.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws.
• Site supervision and authority coordination experience.
• Leadership and team management skills.
