Position: Engineer - Production

Relevant Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Reporting to: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager

Department: Operations

Job Purpose:

To ensure effective execution and co-ordination of production activity in both morning & night shifts.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Shall be responsible for daily production plan compliance
• Manpower deployment to cater absenteeism / shortage on shift to shift basis
• To get issued all required material from store for meeting daily production plan
• Shall be responsible for any troubleshooting on machines
• FG transfers to store
• Efficiency feedback and last day major issues
• DHR report filling
• Upkeep of production shop floor i.e. 5S
• Shall be supporting for Training and skill development for machine operators, sorters and helpers
  • Organizing small training sessions
  • Skill level assessment and bringing it to desired level
• Maintaining all records as per the requirements.
• Coordination with marketing team for pre-dispatch Inspection.

Competencies:

• B.Tech/Diploma in mechanical engineering/polytechnic
• Must have the knowledge of machines (SPM desirable).
• Have knowledge of nuts, bolts, pressure and instruments like vernier calliper, solenoid valve.
• Have some knowledge of packaging
• Should understand business fundamentals.
