Production Financial Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Financial Control Specialist to join our finance team in İzmit. This role will be responsible for reporting production costs as well as preparing and consolidating annual budgets and monthly forecasts.



Key Responsibilities

  • Budget Preparation : Prepare and consolidate production cost data for annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Financial Reporting : Develop, analyze, and present cost reports to senior management, including variance analysis of budget versus actual performance. Support the monthly closing process by ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with production, finance, HR, supply chain, and other departments to ensure alignment on costing and reporting.
  • Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization to enhance cost control mechanisms.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis : Conduct financial analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Performance Analysis : Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (e.g., Days Inventory Outstanding – DIO, Days Payable Outstanding – DPO)


Qualifications

  • University degree in Industrial/Management Engineering, Statistics, Mathematical Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics
  • Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in finance roles within industrial companies
  • Knowledge of SAP and BPC are an asset
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and cash flow.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, adaptability, conceptual thinking ability
