Production Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented Production Graphic Designer to add to our Greater Philadelphia team.

Objectives of this Role

Utilize graphic design talent and software knowledge to create and finalize designs for our clients. Prepare production files for print as well as manage the overall print production processes.

Responsibilities

• Working with a variety of teams members (such as Design Director, Production Manager, Interior Designers, and Project Managers) to align client design needs and execute the final, approved vision.
• Generate:
  • 2D elevation to depict branding and graphic element concepts.
  • Photoshop mockups of existing space to portray proposed branding or graphic elements.
  • Final graphic proof with technical call outs and detail for client review and approval.
  • Install guidelines for clear communication and implementation of designed elements.
• Ensure all designs maintain consistent brand standards and visual identity.
• Create branding kit of parts for internal and external reference.
• Maintain and organize design assets, stock image library and font libraries.
• Retouching images, proofreading, correcting colors, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
• Resizing and formatting creative designs or file (from client or ad agency) for final use and/or implantation.
• Finalizing designs, checking final size and resolution, adding bleed to create technical files for printers.
• Prepare final files for print, ensuring technical specs are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related degree, 2+ years of field experience
• Expertise with graphics editors and software, such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite. RIP software experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual composition. Having a strong design sense with keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Ability to explain design decisions, take constructive criticism, and work with, or as part of, a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• A professional portfolio demonstrating creativity and proficiency in graphic design or related tasks.
• Having some environmental graphic material knowledge, hands on experience in a print shop/production setting and an understanding of and/or the ability to read floor plans and/or Construction Document is a plus
• Ability to lift 50 pounds to load material rolls onto large format printer, laminator, and vinyl plotter

CompensationBenefits

• Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
