Position Summary

Human Capital is hiring one of its client for an an experienced Production Lead to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and production operations for its activewear business. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in apparel production, factory management, sourcing, quality control, vendor coordination, and supply chain execution. Experience within activewear, sportswear, athleisure, garment manufacturing, or textile industries is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Manufacturing

Manage end-to-end apparel production processes from development to final delivery.

Develop and implement production plans to meet business timelines and sales forecasts.

Monitor production efficiency, capacity utilization, and cost optimization initiatives.

Ensure timely execution of production schedules and order fulfillment.

Vendor & Factory Management

Build and maintain relationships with factories, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.

Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate production timelines, quality standards, and costs.

Coordinate with local and international sourcing partners.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Establish and enforce quality control standards across production stages.

Ensure compliance with product specifications, testing requirements, and manufacturing standards.

Resolve production and quality-related issues proactively.

Supply Chain & Sourcing

Coordinate procurement of fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.

Manage inventory planning and raw material availability.

Collaborate with sourcing teams to identify cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

Product Development

Work closely with design and merchandising teams during product development.

Support sampling, fit approvals, material selection, and production readiness processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

5–8+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing, production management, or sourcing.

Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and textile production.

Experience managing vendors, factories, and quality systems.

Excellent planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and production reporting tools.
