Production Logistics Coordinator

Excel Roofing is hiring a dependable Production Logistics Coordinator to keep our production team moving. You'll tow our equipment trailers to job sites across the Front Range, set ladders, stage each site, and coordinate the roof inspections that keep our crews on schedule. It's hands-on, outdoor, early-start work — and a great way to get your foot in the door at one of Colorado's most trusted roofing companies, with a real path into production management. We'll train the right person; what we can't teach is showing up on time and taking pride in doing the job right.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Tow and position our equipment trailers — simple tow-hitch, no CDL — to and from job sites across the Denver metro and Front Range.
• Load, secure, and maintain trailers and equipment; keep everything road-ready and in good working order.
• Set up, secure, and break down ladders at job sites for roof inspections.
• Coordinate inspection logistics — staging sites, sequencing stops, and making sure each site is ready for our project managers.
• Document inspection findings with photos and field notes, and complete reports using a tablet or smartphone.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, crews, and the production team to keep the day on schedule.
• Take on more production coordination as you prove yourself — scheduling, crew communication, and material flow.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record — you'll tow a loaded trailer most days.
• Comfortable towing a simple tow-hitch trailer (we'll train, but you need to be willing and able). No CDL required.
• Reliable transportation to our Englewood shop.
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders, in Colorado weather, year-round.
• Able to lift and carry equipment (50+ lbs) and stay on your feet through the day.
• Dependable and punctual — a 7:00 AM start is the job, not a suggestion.
• Organized, with basic computer and smartphone skills for coordinating and documenting inspections.
• Trustworthy with company vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
• Roofing or field experience is a plus, not a requirement — we hire for character and train the skills.

WHERE THIS ROLE GOES
This isn't a dead-end job. As you learn our operation, you'll step into more of the production department's responsibilities — coordinating crews, scheduling jobs, tracking materials, and keeping every job on track. SCHEDULE & PAY
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00–5:00 PM (end time varies with the day's workload and the season); occasional Saturdays during peak storm season.
$18.00 per hour to start.
Reports directly to the Production Manager.
