Production Manager

Our client is a regional market leader specialising in luxury temporary structures, pop-up displays, and bespoke retail fabrication . With multiple production facilities and a reputation for engineering excellence, they deliver large-scale, high-impact projects for prestigious luxury brands across the Middle East. Having become the go-to partner for retail displays, activations, and premium event builds, they are now looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team in Qatar.


As Production Manager , you will oversee end-to-end factory and workshop operations within a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment. You will manage daily production activities, scheduling, and workflow across multiple fabrication teams, ensuring exceptional quality, innovation, and timely execution for complex retail and event projects.


This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate large teams, maintain strict safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across the factory floor. You will also collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate technical drawings into flawless production outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all fabrication and production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of projects.
  • Manage scheduling, job allocation, and workflow across joinery, metal, and finishing teams.
  • Lead prototyping and R&D initiatives , introducing innovative solutions in fabrication and value engineering.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and workplace standards , fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Motivate and manage a large multicultural workforce , ensuring productivity and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver production aligned with technical drawings and client specifications.
  • Monitor costs, materials, and resources to optimise production without compromising quality.


Requirements

  • 5–8 years’ experience in production/factory roles with at least 3 years in management .
  • Background in retail displays, pop-up activations, furniture fit-out, or joinery/metal fabrication .
  • Proven track record managing large-scale fabrication operations with a sizeable workforce.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Advanced technical knowledge including ability to interpret technical drawings; AutoCAD experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with production management or ERP systems.
