Production Manager

The  Specialty Minerals (SMI)  segment produces and sells the synthetic mineral product precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), mines mineral ores and processes and sells natural mineral products, primarily limestone and talc. This segment's products are used principally in the paper, building materials, paint and coatings, glass, ceramic, polymer, food, automotive and pharmaceutical industries.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager based at our facility in Enez, Turkey. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for all aspects of plant manufacturing including Safety, Production Maintenance, Operational Excellence, and Quality to achieve the corporate, regulatory and customer performance. requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support shop-floor operations and drive continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure safe and compliant execution of production processes
• Supervise equipment installation, servicing, and repairs
• Analyze equipment performance to boost uptime and reliability
• Lead maintenance programs (TPM, FMEA, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance)
• Train operators on process changes and equipment upgrades
• Apply Lean tools including 5S, Standard Work, and Daily Management

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience in production, ideally in the minerals industry
• Strong understanding of multi-shift manufacturing operations
• Proven leadership in managing blue-collar teams
• Practical knowledge of Lean, TPM, and Operational Excellence tools
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel internationally
• Based in or willing to live in Enez or Kesan
