We are seeking a results-driven Production Manager with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring efficient production operations. The position will be assigned to our 5224 Gibbon Road facility. As a critical part of our manufacturing component of the business, this role will troubleshoot production issues and oversee the maintenance of production equipment. He/she will also analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and ensure that production deadlines are met.

What are the qualifications for this position?

· A bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.

· Three (3) years of experience as a production engineer or equivalent.

· In-depth knowledge of manufacturing including processes, production systems and quality control.

· Proficiency in process optimization.

· Experience with basic electronic/mechanical troubleshooting including: sensors and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)

· Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient production processes.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions in a manufacturing environment.

· Experience in food manufacturing

· Experience in white pouch, snus, or tobacco industries (desired)

· Excellent customer relations skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

What will you do?

· Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization.

· Oversee improvements to the production workflows

· Conduct root cause analysis for production-related problems and implement preventive measures.

· Collaborate with production team to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.

· Manage and take quality control measures to ensure that product specifications are met.

· Collaborate with suppliers and customers to manage the supply chain and ensure timely production.

· Maintain documentation for production processes, standard operating procedures and quality standards.

· Coordinate with the Inventory and Production planning groups to ensure all batch records, work orders and allocated materials are available to the production teams ahead of runs.

· Coordinate maintenance and production groups to ensure maximum production line up-time.

· Direct production efforts to complete work orders from the production schedule.

· Assist the line lead in reconciling all materials after the completion of a job.

· Assist the quality representative and quality manager in completing all batch records, resolving issues and completing investigations.
