Production Manager

Job Objective:

The Production Manager is responsible for managing all production related activities of the Company. As a Production Manager, s/he will be involved with the planning, organizing, coordination and control of all production processes. S/he provide leadership, management and vision to his/her department’s employees, and has proper control over work efficiency, standardization of processes and regularity framework to effectively grow and to ensure production strength and operating efficiencies are maintained. The scope of the job relates to all production associated activities, product developmental activities, and provide efficient solution as well as quality assurance, while managing both human capital and material resources.

Job Responsibilities:

· Report directly to the GM for the progress of production activities.

· Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes to enhance efficiencies and reduce rework and wastages.

· Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the production related infrastructure to accommodate growth drivers.

· Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external controls; namely reducing wastages & leakages, overtime management, and inculcate HSE, 5S & kaizen activities.

· Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the production and training schedules.

· Develop matrices for standardization of products and asset allocation policies and maintenance of records thereof.

· Motivate and lead a team with developing and enhancing their skillsets by providing them continuous trainings and feedbacks.

· Mentor direct reports to cultivate skills and to increase consciousness of the interrelationship between production teams.

· Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends i.e. related to new technologies, competitors competencies related to production, and other related aspects of the market.

· Implement key performance indicators e.g. quality and production targets in the department.

· Provide coaching and feedback to the technical team and review their performance to develop opportunities for professional and personal growth.

· Increase motivational level and strict monitoring of the timelines among team members.

· Responsible the up keep and developing and implementing a proper preventive maintenance schedule for all the machines and equipment in the production facility.

· Ensure that the health, safety and environmental guidelines are strictly followed.

Coordinate with external parties (Paint Shop Vendors, etc.) and responsible to complete production activities efficiently and effectively.

Education:

B-Tech / BE (Mechanical Or Industrial Engineering)

Experience:

6+ years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs145,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
