Production Manager

We are looking for a " Production Manager '' to one of our global client who operates in manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies by setting annual, monthly, weekly, and daily targets for the Extrusion department that are aligned with the company's strategic goals and policies.
• Create short-term, medium-term, and long-term projects to achieve the targets and ensure the completion of these projects. Lead the teams established for this purpose and report to the Operations Group Manager.
• Take/ensure all necessary measures against possible deviations from departmental and personal targets and create and lead project teams for this purpose.
• Ensure that production is carried out in accordance with the Extrusion Production Instructions.
• Ensure that annual investment plans concerning the Extrusion Department are prepared and presented to senior management.
• Ensure that activity reports and requests from the ISG unit are carried out. Monitor ISG performance and lead its improvement within the department.
• Identify disruptions in the production flow and create intra-departmental and inter-departmental projects to take preventive measures, leading the teams.
• Ensure the preparation of standard staffing levels according to the capacity worked and carry out workforce planning. Decide on overtime work if necessary and ensure its organization.
• Conduct analyses and carry out activities to develop and improve the extrusion department organization.
• Organize training and development planning for department employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing within the metal industry; minimum 7 years of experience in management positions.

• Strong knowledge and experience in production processes, automation, and industrial engineering.

• Proficient in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, etc.) and MES systems.

• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and strategic management skills.

• Advanced communication and leadership skills; experience in team building and motivation.

• Good command of English; other languages are preferred.

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety and the ability to manage its applications.
