Job Title: Production Manager – BN Catering
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Manager to lead production operations in our diet food catering facility. The role involves managing meal preparation, applying nutritional guidelines, ensuring food safety compliance, and maintaining high production efficiency. The candidate will oversee teams, coordinate resources, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily meal plans tailored to customers’ dietary needs.
Detailed Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Operations
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer meal plans.
Assign tasks to kitchen and packaging staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure meals are prepared correctly according to diet requirements and nutritional values.
Quality & Food Safety
Maintain strict hygiene practices according to food safety regulations (HACCP preferred).
Inspect raw materials and finished meals for quality and freshness.
Monitor portion sizes, calorie counts, and ingredient specifications.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times.
Staff Management
Manage chefs, kitchen assistants, and packaging staff.
Conduct training on food safety, cleanliness, and productivity.
Evaluate staff performance and recommend improvements.
Inventory & Procurement
Monitor stock levels of food ingredients and packaging materials.
Coordinate with procurement for fresh, healthy, and high-quality ingredients.
Reduce waste through proper planning and storage practices.
Cost & Performance Optimization
Track production cost, labor efficiency, and minimize waste.
Implement productivity improvements and streamline workflow.
Maintain accurate records of production output and consumption.
Cross-Department Coordination
Work closely with nutritionists to ensure caloric accuracy and customized plans.
Coordinate with logistics/delivery teams to meet delivery timelines.
Communicate production changes, special requests, and customer preferences.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Catering Management, Industrial Management, or related field.
Minimum 5–8years’ experience in food production, catering, or diet meal operations.
Strong knowledge of food safety systems and compliance standards.
Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver within short timelines.
Experience with diet meal planning is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From KD900.000 per month
Work Location: Remote
