Production Manager cum Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Plan, organize, and supervise the daily manufacturing operations of the workshop (metal works, joinery, and other fit-out components).
• Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Implement and monitor production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Enforce quality control standards and ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials and hardware.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and delays proactively.

Estimation & Costing:

• Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs for metal fabrication and fit-out works.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to support cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and cost breakdowns for client approval.
• Monitor actual production costs against estimates to improve future pricing accuracy.
• Support the sales and project teams with technical input during client discussions.

Coordination & Communication:

• Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to understand technical and commercial requirements.
• Provide production status updates to management and ensure alignment with project timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5–6 years’ experience in production management and estimation within the retail fit-out and/or metal fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, workshop operations, and fit-out manufacturing methods.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, AutoCAD, and shop drawings.
• Hands-on experience with estimation software/tools and MS Office.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
