Production Manager (Custom Boxes)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing operations of custom boxes and packaging products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in corrugated boxes, rigid boxes, folding cartons, luxury packaging, and customized printing/finishing processes. The candidate will be responsible for managing production planning, quality control, manpower, machine utilization, and on-time delivery while ensuring operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations for custom box manufacturing.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines.
• Supervise production teams, shift supervisors, and machine operators.
• Ensure efficient utilization of machinery, raw materials, and manpower.
• Maintain quality standards throughout printing, die-cutting, lamination, gluing, and finishing processes.
• Coordinate with sales, design, procurement, and warehouse departments for smooth workflow.
• Monitor production KPIs including productivity, wastage, downtime, and efficiency.
• Implement process improvements to optimize production costs and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company SOPs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage maintenance schedules for production machinery and equipment.
• Train and develop production staff to improve performance and skills.
• Prepare production reports and present operational updates to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in custom box or packaging manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Corrugated boxes
• Rigid boxes
• Folding cartons
• Offset printing
• Flexographic printing
• Die-cutting and finishing processes
• Experience in handling production planning and inventory management.
• Ability to manage large production teams and multiple shifts.
