Production Manager for Tents And Shades

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Plan, organize, and draw up production schedules based on factory capacity and project deadlines, adjusting as needed to resolve issues or bottlenecks.
• Resource Management: Determine and manage required resources, including raw materials (steel, aluminum, PVC, HDPE, PTFE fabrics, etc.), equipment, and labor.
• Quality Control & Standards: Implement and enforce quality control programs to ensure products meet stringent standards and specifications, minimizing defects and rework.
• Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors and factory teams; supervise staff work, resolve conflicts, and manage attendance and overtime approvals.
• Cost & Budget Management: Estimate project costs, prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize spending and reduce waste.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise with the design department to review drawings, the procurement team for material availability, the client servicing department for timely delivery, and senior management for status reports.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Implement the highest level of health and safety guidelines and enforce all regulations related to production and site installation.
• Equipment Maintenance: Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production machinery and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or operations management role within the tents, shades, or tensile structure industry (within the GCC/UAE is a plus).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of materials used in tent manufacturing (steel structures, various fabrics), design review, and fabrication/welding processes.
