Production Manager - Labels

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager – Labels to oversee and manage end-to-end label production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production planning, quality control, cost optimization, and timely delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations for label manufacturing
• Plan and control production schedules to meet delivery timelines
• Ensure quality standards are met across all production stages
• Optimize machine utilization, materials, and manpower
• Implement process improvements to reduce waste and downtime
• Coordinate with maintenance, procurement, and supply chain teams
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Monitor production KPIs and prepare performance reports
• Train, supervise, and motivate production staff

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Industrial / Production Management
• 7–10 years of experience in label manufacturing or printing industry
• Strong knowledge of flexo, offset, or digital label printing processes
• Experience handling label converting, die-cutting, and finishing
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, or packaging labels
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
• Familiarity with ERP or production planning systems
