Production Manager – Power & Distribution Transformers

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager – Transformers to lead and manage production activities within the transformer division. The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all production and field service activities to ensure operational efficiency and the achievement of organizational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise production activities including winding, core assembly, core coil assembly, and tanking .
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and production activities to meet operational targets.
• Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of Power & Distribution Transformers .
• Review and analyze technical drawings and prepare technical analysis reports.
• Supervise transformer testing processes and ensure proper testing methodologies.
• Interpret transformer diagnostic results such as DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) and FRA (Frequency Response Analysis) .
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, and sales departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support the Tender Department by providing technical inputs for proposals.
• Participate in customer inspections and site support activities .
• Contribute to new product development and design improvements .
• Conduct failure analysis for transformer electrical and mechanical issues.
• Provide technical training and development for team members.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and Occupational Health & Safety policies .

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Strong experience in power transformer production or service operations
• Proven leadership and production management experience
• Strong knowledge of transformer testing and diagnostic techniques
